چکیده

This paper proposes architecture for SDR (Software Defined Radio) system with OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) Technique. SDR enables runtime reconfiguration of modulation and demodulation (QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM) inside OFDM in Hardware. The Peak to power Average Ratio is a main design consideration of OFDM, which causes a degradation problem when a power amplifier is used. A combined algorithm commanding technique and then the signal pass through all pass filters. This Reduces the PAPR. The Companding transform is used to reduce the PAPR ratio without affection the parameters of OFDM. A linear Non-symmetrical Companding Transform (LNST) is used which gives better performance than other techniques. Rotating the sequence phase, by using multiple all pass filters. Finally calculate the Peak to Power Average Ratio (PAPR) and select the sequence with minimum PAPR ratio. Then apply an optimization algorithm RWBS (Repeated Weighted Boosting Search). The Implementation of this system can be done by using Partial Reconfigurable FPGA. The Partial Reconfiguration helps to modify the program without affecting the current Running program. Increasing the Performance of OFDM Systems by PAPR Reduction in PTS Technique using Election Optimization Algorithm

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a useful technology in wireless communications that provides high-rate data transmission in multipath fading channels. The advantages of OFDM systems are the high spectral efficiency and strong resistance to frequency selective fading. In OFDM systems, a large number of sub-carriers are used to modulate the symbols causing the time-domain OFD...

Selective Tone Reservation Method for PAPR Reduction of Spatially Multiplexed OFDM Systems

Tone Reservation (TR) is one of the well-known methods for PAPR reduction of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems. In this method some sub-carriers are reserved for PAPR reduction and the symbols in these sub-carriers are selected such that the PAPR of the OFDM frame is minimized. In this paper, the iterative algorithm introduced earlier for TR method in single antenna OFDM...

Selective Tone Reservation method for PAPR reduction in SFBC-OFDM systems

The high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and MIMO-OFDM systems reduces the system efficiency. In this paper, an extension of Tone Reservation (TR) method is introduced for PAPR reduction in Space Frequency Block Coded OFDM (SFBC-OFDM) systems. The proposed algorithm is based on a time domain kernel which is added to the signal of the anten...

An Efficient Scheme for PAPR Reduction of OFDM based on Selected Mapping without Side Information

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has become a promising method for many wireless communication applications. However, one main drawback of OFDM systems is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Selected mapping (SLM) is a well-known technique to decrease the problem of high PAPR in OFDM systems. In this method, transmitter is obliged to send some bits named side informati...
